CANINE AND FELINE STERILIZATION BRIGADE

Proani Animal Protection Association, has carried out 40 canine and feline sterilization brigades in the Choloma and San Pedro Sula areas, sterilizing 518 animals to date. The main objective with this campaign is to prevent the proliferation of city (stray) animals, to raise awareness about the benefits of sterilization, about the care and respect for animals.

It is important to carry out these types of activities to minimize the number of animals that roam the streets that only suffer indifference, mistreatment, thirst and hunger. We want to emphasize that neutering our companion animal before its first heat offers the best protection from uterine infections and other diseases in both males and females.

In this way we are “Educating Honduras through animals”.

MEDICAL-VETERINARY FOOD BRIGADE

Proani Animal Protection Association, has carried out 13 medical-veterinary food brigades in areas of Choloma and San Pedro Sula.

The main objective when carrying out this type of activity is to help the companion animals (pets) of people who reside in rural and high-risk areas where they do not have the resources or access to veterinarians.

Thus educating them on the good treatment of animals, in this way we are "Educating Honduras through animals".
